Data Analyst Intern

RUSA Analytics is looking for a Data Analyst Intern interested in transforming raw business data into meaningful insights.

You will work on practical analytics projects involving sales, customers, inventory and operational performance. This internship is suitable for candidates who want hands-on exposure to data cleaning, analysis, dashboard development and business problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean and validate data from Excel, CSV and other sources.

• Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns and business insights.

• Create reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI or Tableau.

• Assist with data modelling and KPI definition.

• Document datasets, calculations and analytical processes.

• Perform quality checks to maintain reporting accuracy.

• Support the team in preparing case studies and client deliverables.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, commerce or a related discipline.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Basic understanding of SQL and data analysis.

• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is preferred.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate findings clearly.

• Willingness to learn and work independently.
