Data Engineering Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

RUSA Analytics invites aspiring data engineers to join our talent pool for upcoming internship opportunities. You will support the development of data pipelines and help transform raw information into reliable, analysis-ready datasets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extract data from databases, spreadsheets, files and APIs.
• Clean, validate and transform raw datasets.
• Assist in developing ETL and ELT workflows.
• Write and optimise SQL queries.
• Support data-model and database-schema development.
• Automate recurring data-processing activities.
• Monitor data quality and investigate inconsistencies.
• Document pipelines, data sources and transformation rules.
• Collaborate with analysts and dashboard developers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Understanding of databases and data structures.
• Familiarity with ETL concepts.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to accuracy.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
